FAQ About Our Hot Springs Hotel
Guests may arrive from 3 pm to 9 pm for check-in. Guests may contact The Reserve for an earlier or later check-in. Early arrival is subject to availability and must be discussed in advance.
Check-out is 11 am unless prior arrangements are made.
Due to our small size, cancellations affect us significantly. Guests may cancel individual reservations without penalty before 3 pm fourteen days before the arrival day. Guests canceling within fourteen days of the arrival day forfeit their deposit. We do not issue refunds for early departures, no-shows, or last-minute cancellations. Cancellation of any rooms booked as part of a group is subject to the group contract’s cancellation policy. A cancellation fee of fifty dollars will be charged to any confirmed reservation that is modified or canceled. All holidays or special event reservations, including Oaklawn racing events, may require a 30-day notice to cancel.
Breakfast is served from 8 am to 10 am. If you would like breakfast outside of this time frame, let us know the night before or upon check-in. Our dining room offers 11 private tables which can seat 24 to 26 guests at a time. We also offer trays to take your breakfast out to the porch if weather permits.
Children age 15 and over are welcome at The Reserve.
You are welcome to book a photoshoot on the property by calling our office to book an appointment (weekdays preferred). Photoshoots are $100 for an hour outside on the property.
Bridal photoshoots are only included in booking the property for your wedding.
While we love pets, we do not allow pets to stay overnight in The W.C Brown Mansion guest rooms. Guests may bring pets to stay in the Legacy House upon paying a pet fee of $150. Boarding services may be available nearby at Hot Springs Animal Hospital. Please contact The Reserve directly if you are traveling with a service animal. Service animals are permitted in all areas where guests are allowed. Service animals are trained to perform a specific task for the benefit of a person with a disability.
All guests are provided off-street parking (limit one guest vehicle per room) in designated spaces at the property entrance. Additional parking is available on Alamo Trail for all guests attending special events – please inquire for details.
The Reserve at Hot Springs is a smoke-free property, including all outdoor areas. This restriction applies to cigarettes, cigars, e-cigarettes, and marijuana. The fire department prohibits the use of candles, incense, and any open flame. A $300 cleaning fee will be assessed for violation of this policy.

We have a list of recommendations for dinner, please ask any of our staff! We also host dinners for our lodging guests on Friday nights at 6 pm.
